We’d like to introduce you to House of Ruth Board Member Olivia Raley, MAFP, MSW. We have to admit, a couple of her answers to our get-to-know you questions surprised us!
What is your profession? I am a police social worker for the Bardstown Police Department.
How long have you been involved at House of Ruth? I have worked in collaboration with House of Ruth for 8 years in regard to assisting mutual clients and have served on the board since June of 2025.
What’s the best part about being on the board/working with House of Ruth? I get to be a part of something that will impact the community for generations to come. I love that I get to work alongside like-minded individuals who see a greater purpose.
Favorite thing to do when you’re not working? I love to travel the world! I have been to 31 countries.
Favorite movie of all time? It would have to be Rocky IV.
The album/song you could listen to every day? Cher’s “Greatest Hits” or Prince’s “Purple Rain”.
