What is your profession?
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (mental health therapist) specializing in disorders of trauma & attachment and LGBTQIA+ issues. I own a small private practice in St. Matthews.
How long have you been involved at House of Ruth?
I have been actively involved at the House of Ruth for the last several months. I have worked with House of Ruth on several occasions over the years while employed by other agencies as a community partner.
What’s the best part about being on the board/working with House of Ruth?
I find great intrinsic value from my involvement with House of Ruth and the larger community. I believe it is very important to stay engaged and encourage positive change in our local community.
Favorite thing to do when you’re not working?
During my leisure time, I enjoy boating at Nolin Lake, off-roading in our Jeep, and enjoying our national parks.
Favorite movie of all time?
Anything with Morgan Freeman or Anthony Hopkins.
